ok, i gave one less star. why? they dont tell you the watt of the light (in all that crap they write about the light that who cares? give us product details) and if your machine is plastic body, you do need to then buy or get, a small stick on metal bit so the light can adhere to the machine. i happened to have a big plate laying around for just this purpose. works great. i actually like using a bigger metal plate as i can move the light a bit if needed. this will reach from the back of your machine where you mount it out of the way, to the underside where you need that light. and boy does it light so much better than that stupid night light inside the machine. i do extremely detail work on my machine, i was always trying to get a goose neck to get the light where i needed it. those strips dont work either, they keep falling off, you cant get strip light to hit the spot where the needle is. this does what you need. trust me and get one, but be sure to also get a metal plate that sticks on so this will mount. or i guess you could glue it. a two part epoxy for hard plastic would permanently mount it. i know, i am a maker. I bought two so far and want two more for other areas i want to have bright light on my work. they are that handy. see my photos, light is on and off. what a difference it makes.
