Cuddledown got its start in 1973 in a small harbor town in Maine, where winters are long, and even summers can be chilly. Our original down comforters provided a lavish warmth that made them a hit. Word spread, demand grew and we began selling a wide range of bedding comforts. Today, Cuddledown continues to handcraft luxury pillows, comforters and featherbeds in Yarmouth, Maine from fine imported materials.

We created Dreamstead by Cuddledown as a contemporary bedding collection for the modern home. Featuring clean patterns and colors with the same Cuddledown quality, we aim to help you sleep better – and live better.

Each pillow features classic double-stitching, for long-lasting durability. Our downproof fabric is woven tightly, to prevent leaks and keep the fill inside your comforter or pillow, where it should be.

Naturally Lofty Down

Our down is well known for its loft and softness - and unlike feathers, it doesn't have quills. It has been washed four times to be hypoallergenic and dust-free.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 - All of Cuddledown's pillows and comforters are tested for harmful substances and certified to meet the strict safety criteria of the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, assuring safety for you and your family. Certification number: 18.HUS.35306 Hohenstein.

Responsible Down Standard (RDS) - Our down supply chain is certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). The Responsible Down Standard describes and independently certifies animal welfare practices in down and feather production and tracks the certified down and feathers from farm to final product. RDS certified by IDFL, TE-00049475
