LOVE this Rug!

This SAFAVIEH Vintage Serapi Nita Medallion Area Rug has upgraded the look of my kitchen instantly. The colors of blues and reds are vibrant and beautiful! The design is eye catching! What I love most is how light weight this rug is, yet stays in place! Unlike most rugs that need to be professionally cleaned, this one is machine washable! So soft on bare feet too. My dog loves laying on it, smart dog! All and all I'm very happy! It's the perfect rug for me!

Stylish washable rug

I received the SAFAVIEH Vintage Serapi Nita Medallion Washable Area Rug in Red/Blue colorway, size 5ft x 7ft, for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Before receiving this rug, I wasn't familiar with the Safavieh brand. Once I learned I was selected for this campaign, I decided to do some research. I discovered that Safavieh was established in 1914, originally beginning as curators and suppliers of antique rugs. Over the years, the company expanded into antique furniture, eventually becoming a recognized trendsetter in the interior design industry. Now, let's talk about the rug I received. The Nita Medallion rug features a beautiful blend of red and blue tones, and the 5ft x 7ft size is perfect for a variety of spaces. It is made from 93% polyester and 7% polypropylene. The back of the rug has a rubber lining, though the brand recommends using a rug pad to help prevent shifting or sliding. One of my favorite features is that this rug is machine washable, which makes it ideal for high traffic areas such as kitchen, dining room, or living room where spills and dirt are more likely. The rug looks even better in person the red and blue medallion pattern really stands out and adds character to the room. These rugs are thinner and lighter than traditional rugs, making them easily to fit into a home washing machine. For best care, wash using cold water and a mild detergent, then air dry. Avoid using the dryer to maintain the rug's integrity.
