They took my money and set the cards unactivated. Save yourself time and effort and just go to the store. The only reason it isn't rated 1 star from me, is due to the customer service being on top of it and refunding my money after confirming they were never activated

Purchased these as a Christmas gift and they came unactivated. I was told by a Walmart representative that I have to contact my bank because they're unable to do anything about this. I never received an email or an activation code as Sparky suggests. If you could give a review without having to select any stars I would have. It doesn't even deserve a one star. Do better Walmart. It was a Christmas gift.

Save the money %26 possibly sad gift receiver!

DO NOT BUY THESE! 2 years in a row receiving inactive gift cards(physical ones). As many others state below, when you call Walmart to complain, they blame it on Xbox! So you call xbox(which is also a hassle if you don't have an account) and they tell you items Walmarts problem. So, finally, they are crediting me for gift cards. I gave bad gift cards as gifts %26 that makes me look bad! Won't be ordering gift cards from Walmart anymore!
