WUNDERBROW Eyebrow Gel, Waterproof, Smudgeproof, Lasts for Days, Shade: Auburn

As you can see by the before picture, I have practically no eyebrows. I have years of experience drawing my eyebrows on each morning and have tried so many products. Then when my hair became grey in the front I had the added challenge of finding the right brow color. I considered getting my brows tatooed but realized that was not only expensive but not permanent. So make up is really my only recourse. So happy I found this product! The color is perfect for blonde, light brown, grey or salt and pepper hair. It is a very neutral light taupe. It does not smudge or come off until you take it off with an oil based remover. Soap will not remove it; only oil. However it is slightly workable before it dries. And it is also a buildable intensity. You can go light and sheer as shown in my middle picture or continue building deeper layers of pigment as shown in the top picture. I had to experiment at first. But quickly realized a full proof approach: Instead of using the attached cap wand directly to my brows, I use the brush end of the spooly wand, to apply the product more gradually. I just swab some product off of the side of the attached brush using the brush on the spooly and then apply it with light feathered strokes, swiping with the spooly interchangeably. I keep applying the brow gel a little at a time using this method, until I'm satisfied. If I do it that way it is fairly easy to apply the brow gel in a more contolled manner. I would not reccomend using the cap brush directly on your brows. It is just way too much product and will look clumpy and uneven and too dark. Also a little oil on my brows helps to spread the product more evenly but does not seem to compromise the staying power. I am very pleased with this product. However, I only gave 4 stars because it's not the most forgiving formula. If you make a mistake it's very hard to correct. Also I think they should have used a higher quality attached brush. It should have been a higher quality, fine, angled brush like the detached one they provided. Then perhaps, it could be useful in applying directly to the brows.
