Well-made; Heavy Duty

This harness is made entirely of woven strap. It uses heavy D-rings and nylon buckles. It comes out of the package as a confusing tangled web. This is made worse by the fact that there are no instructions, not even a photo of the device in use. Play with it for a few minutes and you'll figure it out. It's actually a very nice harness, especially for summer use. Our other harness has chest and shoulder pads. Those tend to grab my dog in a way that he's frequently trying to shake it back in place. It also holds the heat in summer. This strap-only harness is just as secure but isn't as confining while still being escape-proof. It has a chrome chest ring for license/ID tag/bell. It has a grab loop on top. It goes on easily (once you figure out how). The included leash is also heavy duty. It has two heavy leash clips. I'm not sure why. Walking two dogs together? Controlling a very large dog? If you only use one clip, the 4' leash can be used as a 6' leash. Recommended.

I liked the idea of having a martingale harness and overall it does the job, but probably won't use this. It was hard to fit the harness correctly and the best we could get it, the harness still slid and moved around to the side when our dog pulled. It's possible it'd fit better for other dogs but we couldn't get it to work well. Lastly the silver is pretty stark against the black. Some might like that look but it seemed a bit much for us.
