Norman Mouse, his Mama and Papa and little sister, Emily, are a typical Latter-day Saint family facing typical family issues that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints face. In Norman Gets a Blessing, Norman is sick and wants desperately to go play in the snow. He does all he can to make himself get better. His efforts fail. He then receives a Priesthood blessing from his father and grandfather and eventually is healed, helping him see the power in the Priesthood and the love his Heavenly Father has for him.
