MagnaFlow Sys C/B Corvette C4 92-96 LT1 Fits select: 1992-1996 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

I wanted to keep the original resonator on my 94 C4 so I went with this axle back set-up. The pipes/mufflers arrived in perfect shape. Kudos to Magnaflow folks in Oceanside for foaming the parts in-place in the box. The trickiest part of the the install was marking out the exact place to cut the existing pipes. Take your time and us a Sharpie. A new sawsall blade made short work of the old pipe and the new pipe slides perfectly over the old. I used some sealer between the pipes before clamping. Getting the bolts into the hanger was a bit tough due to the tight working space on a vette. I found that the best way to tighten the hanger bolt was to use a long extension and approach it from above the muffler from behind the car. There's just enough space. The car sounds great. Just enough throatiness without being obnoxious. I have also noticed less drone from inside the car. The mufflers are solidly built with quality welds. The pipes were aligned perfectly to fit my existing exhaust. I am going to rate the product badly on price. I think $621 is too much for this axle back system, even though I am satisfied on other points.
