This is only for indoors!
The product description indicates that this fan is for indoor/outdoor, but after I assembled the fan, then read the manual, the manual specifically states indoor use only. I wanted a fan that could be in a covered but open air patio and I expect that the thin aluminum blade and metal frame will rust and fall apart. It also does not have a GFI type plug in that most outdoor products have. I had already assembled the product before looking at the manual so will use it knowing that it will most likely break within a year.

Good, but not great.
This fan has an attractive design and was purchased specifically for its exterior rating, unfortunately it cannot operate at the highest setting because the motor vibrates excessively. Based on affordability, I would still recommend the item. You get what you pay for, this is on the cheap side and made in China, so high quality should not be expected.
