Pompeii 1 1/2ct Solitaire Diamond Engagement Ring 14K White Gold (F,SI2)

About six weeks ago my husband bought me a 14k yellow gold 1 ct solitaire (upgrade) from one of the big name jewelry stores at the mall for $4,000. Then I found Pompeii3.com and was astonished to see this 1.5 ct for half the cost. This one even had better grading compared to my "mall" diamond. I was told that since Pompeii3 has no middle man, they can charge far less. I was leery but my husband agreed we would keep my mall diamond until the Pompeii3 diamond arrived to compare them, and that if all was well, we'd then return the mall solitaire since it's still within the 60 return policy. Well.... It arrived today (not even 2 weeks since ordering) and oh.... my..... goodness.... So glad we ordered. Aside from it being a larger diamond (WOO-HOO), it appears to be equal in quality to the mall diamond if not better. The prongs are a bit crooked but the diamond actually seems to be a bit of a better cut! I can't believe I now have a bigger and better diamond for half the cost! It says it's supposed to be an F in color but in certain lighting I can see it's actually a hint more yellow than the mall diamond so I can't say I agree that it's an F. But I actually prefer the warmth of it. Though D-F color is more rare, whiter diamonds don't have any more of an appeal to me than non pure white diamonds. It's the rainbow sparkle and fire I care about. Both of the diamonds we bought do have good sparkle so I'm very happy. I'd like to submit photos if I can figure out how.
