Serious set of essential safety equipment
Had similar item from a functional point of view, but, could not locate it. Probably let someone borrow them and never got them back. But, that is one of the reasons I like to have a pair in my car - to help out in the event someone gets in a jam, which can be easy to do in the Midwest, in particular. This version is so superior to my last pair. They are much longer. They are seriously textured to improve traction in sand, soil or snow. Very rugged. The design was really thought through. I hope I never need them, but, I feel that it is essential to have a full spectrum of emergency supplies in my vehicle. Like being prepared for the unexpected. I won't let these get away from me. Since they are fairly flat, they won't take up an inordinate amount of space in the storage box.

Should work for getting unstuck.
These were delivered in a giant box. I think I really underestimated how big these things would be. I got these Off-Road recovery traction boards in case we ever need to get our truck out of the mud or the snow , or in case we ever come across anyone who needs help getting their car unstuck. I haven't had the honor of having to try them out yet however, I will be keeping these in the bed of my truck in case an emergency like that ever arises. Because of these traction boards, there will be no more searching for rocks and old boards to put under my tires when i do get stuck. Thanks Polaris.
