I have severe spinal Stenosis, degenerative disc disease and chronic pain. I can't get comfortable to get much sleep. I ordered this 4"mattress topper and have had it on my bed 3 nights. It's very comfortable and i have been able to get a few more hours sleep than usual. so far it's a great help for my condition. very affordable for fixed income and can't afford to buy new regular mattress. I'm satisfied with my purchase. it helps to keep my spine aligned. can't tell about cooling part since i deal with constant tingling from waist to toes. they stay cold feeling.
