Wusthof - 4862-7/20 - 8 in Cook's Knife

I've used this in a high volume commercial kitchen for around 6 months now. It's still super sharp with consistent sharpening and using it 5 days or more out of the week. It's sharp enough to slice through bread or rolls without much pushing and is great for dicing, chopping, etc. with many food items. One of my favorite features, which more than likely is the same with high end knives, is that it is weighted properly so that the blade never actually touches the cutting board when it's resting! :) Haven't noticed this in a decade of kitchen work with another knife, but have found that others share this quality as well now. A mark of a good knife! Would definitely buy again, and look into higher end Wusthof products as well!

Purchased as a present for a sister. Expect great performance. Price and delivery was very good experience.
