Unique way to get ice cream

This scoop doesn't give traditionally shaped ice cream scoops, at least not they way we've been using it. But, it does produce awesome wide ribbons, similar to rolled ice cream. The built-in legs are terrific for keeping the spoon/scoop/spade blade off the table or counter, but it will (of course) still drip if it has been used and not wiped. The handle is very comfortable, and has a nice weight to it which makes it feel mid-to-high quality. I appreciate it being dishwasher safe, too.

Replacing all my scoops with spades!

This spade is SO much easier than using a traditional scoop. Especially on very hard ice cream or sorbet, it glides in smoothly and allows me to portion off exactly how much I want without having to apply a lot of pressure. With this shape, the ice cream does not stick to the scoop so it's easy to slide it into a bowl or shape it on a cone. I also love that I can hand wash it easily or throw it in the dishwasher.

Tovolo Ice Cream Scoop

This coop works great with the Tovolo Ice Cream container. I like to either repackage store bought ice cream or make my own and this scoop works great with either. It is really solid. and holding it while scooping is comfortable. It works great on hard ice cream because of its solid construction and well angles scoop. It is also hand washable or dishwasher safe.
