Athlon Optics Helos BTR Rifle Scope 1-4.5x 24mm Illuminated ATSR3 MOA Reticle Matte Black

So far so good. Optic is holding zero and appears to be very well made. For the price comes with features you'd expect on higher end ones. Illumination was a great bonus for this price point. I installed on a Mossberg MVP Precision and couldn't be happier so far. I'm a Vortex fan but gave this a try due to the lifetime warranty and high customer service ratings.

I wanted a scope for Service Rifle competition (limited to 4.5X) for a relatively inexpensive price and the Athlon Helos BTR more than met my expectations. The glass is very clear, the reticle is not cluttered with unnecessary extraneous minutiae, and the turrets provide precise adjustments. The scope is consistently repetitive on target alignment - performed exceptionally well on "box" test (10 mil right, 10 mil down, 10 mil left, 10 mil up - brings bullet strike right back to first impact). Reticle illumination works well as does the parallax function. Teamed this up with Athlon's one piece cantilever mount - phenomenal rock solid performance. Highly recommend to someone wanting to compete in Service Rifle competition - great, clear optics with consistent repetitiveness's without spending thousands of one's hard earned $$$.
