Yes, it's slightly graphic looking, but it WORKS!!! Placement was the most difficult part to figure out, but I wear it outside my lips so my mouth is still technically open, then my lips rest on the device. The heart shape is upside down. I have had to sleep with my mouth open a few times - still works. All this does it provide a suction to keep your tongue forward/from relaxing to the back of your throat and obstructing your airway. You can kind of adjust how strong of a suction you get with your mouth. Bonus: I feel like I'm mewing without the effort. I came here to order a spare.
