It arrived on time. The item was delivered in a gray plastic bag. It was as light as a feather and USPS left it on the front porch end table. Made of what I thought was a sponge like material. Not very foamy and easily indented. Pressed down firmly and it did bounce back but too thin for comfort, did not install. We put it to better use - laughing - hung the seat up to a tree to toss the football, baseball, and softballs threw. Top lid we used for kneeling down in garden. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Too thin and not comfortable.
