I bought this G-Shock mainly for its uncommon composite bracelet made of resin links and steel connecting rods, with red accents on the underside. Also the stealthy look and not too huge size in the square shape. Plus Bluetooth and app connection, in addition to the radio time adjustment and the solar power. So it's loaded with technology, for a moderate price. I have another Casio solar and waveceptor analog three hands and digital display watch working continuously and flawlessly with no battery replacements keeping time to a second since 2005. No doubt the negative LCD display in this G-Shock is less legible in weak side lighting than a regular LCD, but…. It looks good, it has a good and automatic illumination, and the contrast is plenty sufficient in overhead lighting such as outdoors, a store, or office. I wish the glass had anti-reflective coating, and then sapphire and oleophobic surface would be additional desirable features. I received the international warranty version, with multilingual manual on one large folded sheet of paper, packed in a tin can. The delivery by USPS was not too long, but rescheduled for four days to the following day. Overall, it's a keeper and a good deal.
