Insert the required Carbon-Zinc AA battery.

Troubleshooting Tip: If the hands ever seem to stick or the time becomes inaccurate, a simple reset usually solves the issue. Carefully remove the hands and reposition them all pointing to 12 o'clock, ensuring they are parallel and not touching each other. Reinsert the battery and set the time from the back. Please handle gently to avoid bending the shafts.
