i didn't know a low sodium version of old bay existed but now i know and i will be buying this one from now on, i try to cut my families sodium intake as much as i can and so this is great for us, i only wish i had purchased a larger size if that's available.

If you're from Maryland, Old Bay isn't just a seasoning—it's basically a state religion. So switching to low sodium Old Bay can feel a little like cheating on tradition. But honestly? It holds up surprisingly well. You still get that classic zing of paprika, celery salt, and spice that belongs on everything from crabs to popcorn. The flavor is definitely a bit milder and less punchy, but not in a disappointing way—more like a gentler version that lets you season a little heavier without worrying about blowing past your sodium limit. The best part? It's still unmistakably Old Bay, and only a true Marylander would know if something was "off." Most people won't even notice.

Same great taste with less salt!
We tried this less sodium Old Bay Spice and it was great! We seasoned hamburger patties for the grill; wonderful! We made a dipping sauce with it for our potato wedges; yum! My 21 year old had friends over and made shrimp in the air fryer and used the Old Bay less sodium spice to season the shrimp. It was a big hit! So, we would definitely buy this to get the great flavor of Old Bay without all of the salt. Also, I was not aware that we needed to get pictures or videos. I can definitely cook some more items and do that when we get back from a quick holiday vacation. Just send me a link.
