Excellent shoe

Best Endorphin Speed series since the 2. Somehow the 3 and 4 didn't hit right, but these are on-point. The uppers are very light and breathable, roomy toe box and great cushion/return balance from the foam. I found myself reaching for these by default after 12 runs or so, on short days or longer days.

Great shoe!

This is the best running shoe for intervals/tempo I have ever had. It's fun, reactive and easy to adapt. If you like a more mushy feeling, this is not the shoe for you, but given how stable the ride is, it's great for the biomechanics. I recently ran the United NYC HM in 1:27 at it was a great shoe!

After a Runner's World review, I bought the more highly different brand with the Endorphin Speed 5 as my backup. However, after breaking in and running a few times with the different brand, something was off. It was not adapting to my pronation. It juts did not feel right. After a couple of months, I put on my Endorphin Speed 5. The fit, adaptation, pronation wear was perfect from the first few moments I started wearing it. I was so happy, I bought a second pair in a different color!
