2000 Tahoe Fan motor fix

2000 Tahoe fan motor would only work on the high speeds setting. Was completely dead on the low speeds. Took the cover off the HVAC unit under passenger side dash board to access the resistor. You have to take one addition small bolt off the fan motor cover and pry it down to unplug one of the two connectors for the resistor but other than that it was pretty straight forward replacement. This resistor is in front of the fan motor toward the seat Not another component that also has wires going to that is closer to the center console. Once everything was hooked back up all fan speeds now work great. The circuit board on this one was slight different than the original but worked great and was probably a newer design.

Nice experience!

The product came quickly and it was in perfect working order. I installed the new resistor and removed the old one in an hour. Now the fan works on the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 settings on the Yukon and I don't have to freeze momma out of the car. Very nice! Thank you for the good price and quality equipment.

Fan blower resistor block
