Item was stylish and flattering. It did run a little big in the hips so I did have to return and size down. The material is stretchy and thicker so no see through issues. Could not believe this was Walmart, looked more like Ann Taylor. Style is on trend. I haven't washed it yet so I can't speak to that part but it flattering, has a flattering waist and shape. The length is work appropriate and not too short.

This dress is a great choice when you're on the go to a formal event or heading out for brunch with the ladies. The key selling point is that, although it's a T-shirt–style dress, it looks more elegant than casual. It conforms to your body shape and isn't overly smocked/smocking. It's not actually a kimono or button-down style, even though it may appear that way at first glance. It looks and feels expensive. I also appreciate that it isn't made with acrylic, which should help with its longevity. The downside is that it's quite short. I'm over 5'9”, and although I purchased a size much larger than my usual S/M/L (depending on how form-fitting the item is), it was still far too short on me. Because I have a curvier derrière, it's not practical for me. However, someone who isn't as well endowed in that area would likely appreciate this dress. I highly recommend buying this dress and purchasing your size first to determine if you should go up a size or to go down to achieve your desired look. I found it to be true to size, which is why I found the XL too large on my frame.
