Weird pattern on fabric, but feels great on

I love that it's 100% cotton. I'm very much over all the puffy sleeves, but I sew so I plan to alter the sleeves. I'm not a fan of the overlarge pattern; it adds 20 lbs to my body, so I may alter more than just the sleeves. Having said all that, the fabric is soft and the dress feels great on me, so it's worth it to keep it. It might be a wear-at-home-only dress.

I love this dress! The fabric is a thick cotton, but not double cloth. Talk about THE perfect puff sleeve! The dress has deep pockets, and a nice thick belt. Dress it up or down! Super comfortable. You'd easily pay double for this quality dress elsewhere. I'm right between sizes, so I sized up. Glad I did, it just adds to the ease and comfortably of this dress. I'm now going to get it in another color!
