This is the fourth 8' x 4' garden bed. I have put together. I've only put one of the two together so far from this order. Overall, the quality of this is better than my prior purchases. The galvanized steel is a little bit sturdier, the support that holds the sides together is far superior to the other three. At first, I was disappointed that the sides were two pieces instead of a 2 foot wide piece. But now, having assembled one of them, I'm not disappointed. One of the ways this one was for superior to the other three was that the screws were of a higher quality. With the other ones that I had, many of the screws did not want to accept the nut. All of the screws in this package went on easily. I have three assembly hints: it was not clear to me in the instructions that the hole where you put the screw for the top of the bottom piece, and the bottom of the top piece was shared by both pieces. As a result, I had to unscrew those and redo them. Secondly, the plastic tops for the corners, which is a really nice feature, I didn't realize until I had it all put together that those shared the top screw with the corner pieces. The third hint is that I think I was supposed to use the long screws for the entire middle where the bracket and the supports that go across are attached. I only used the long screws for the holes where the bracket went across and I ended up short one screw of the short screws when I was finishing up. I think there's actually extra of both screws and I just did it wrong. When I put the second one together, it will be easier. I'm a senior citizen and I was not rushing. It took me four hours to assemble this by myself. But it was not an unpleasant task on the nicest day we've had so far this year.
