The Chill-Its 8934 Ranger Hat with Neck Shade provides lightweight, breathable head, face and neck shade for working in the sun. This UPF 50+ sun hat features a roll-away neck shade and a wide brim that can be worn down or snapped up and out of the way for customized wear. Mesh side vents maximize airflow, and a moisture-wicking sweatband keeps sweat out of eyes to keep workers cool and comfortable. Includes breakaway drawstring chin cord and adjustable cinch cord in back for a custom, secure fit. Ideal for those working in hot environments where shade is needed, including agriculture and landscaping. Can also be used for outdoor recreation such as hiking, fishing or gardening. Blocking the suns damaging rays with tenacity.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a really hot summer and I needed a good hat to keep my head safe and cool. This was it. The back flap is just the right length and the brim is wide enough to keep my comfortable. The top of the hat is well vented and being a black hat, this is a necessity. Only issue I ran into with this hat is it flies off your head in a breeze so using the strap to keep it down is a must. The breeze will push the brim into your eyes also. A bucket hat is not ment to prevent the wind, just keep the sun away and it does just that. So I would recommend this hat to anyone who needs that extra shade and comfort of a vented bucket hat with a back flap. It does look decent too as I did get a couple compliments. Thanks for a nice hat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, by far my favorite Ergodyne product. I'm pretty pale and the wide brim and neck shade of the hat has kept me from the scorching rays of the sun! Long days of hard work outside and the hat wicks away my sweat like a pro and I don't feel grubby in it. It washes well and the fit is fantastic. I've found a lot of hats of this design tend to run small - not this one. Perfect!
