I took off the long handle and attached the shorter attachment to vacuum the car. It did great there, too. Then I did the couch, and it was good at picking up the individual dog hairs. Then I trotted up to my bathroom and used it on the tile and the washable rug I have in there, and it didn't suck up the rug.
