I cannot say much as the lamp has clearly been used. With items that contain rechargeable batteries, one never knows if the lamp had been properly charged by its first owner. if not, then it will not hold a charge very long. The box was missing instructions and the lamp was just put in a regular household bag I'm not sure if the lampshade was rewrapped or not, but it is dusty. I paid for a new lamp, not a used one. I might send it back since I don't know what the blue light on the base means charged? needs charging? something else?
