It's a shiny gold color giving it a more modern look and sturdy! I have a fairly heavy wreath hanging on it on my front door and have had no issues! Matter of fact, I added an Easter wooden sign on top of floral wreath too! I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for something to hang a large wreath from and this did the trick! It fit over my apartment door easily and securely, and since it's a big wooden door, it would be perfect for houses too! Not to mention that it was reasonably priced for such a sturdy piece of metal, the gold paint hasn't worn off or anything either!
