Rancilio Silvia Pro X Espresso Machine | Dual Boiler | PID Control | Shot Timer | (Pink)

I'm extremely happy with this machine. It's VERY rare to find a coffee shop that produces a latte as good as the Rancilio produces at home. The consistency is fantastic, and the double boiler is a game changer. It boasts a pretty fast warmup time, especially for the brew boiler, the steam side takes longer, because the capacity is larger. We've had it for over 6 months, and it has worked flawlessly, probably averaging about 6 lattes a day? but some days it's pumping out 4 times that, literally.The folks at Seattle Coffee Gear were a big help in narrowing it down to the best options for our use. The only thing I would change about the Pro X is the size of the water reservoir. Wish that was bigger, but it is extremely nice that it warns you when it's getting low, so you don't run out mid-shot. (Of course, if it was bigger, people would probably complain about the size ??)Clearly it's not a cheap machine, but in this case, you get what you payed for.

As a brand new beginner in the espresso world, I am in love with the white Rancillio Silva Pro X. Yes...it is a learning curve but on my 3rd shot of espresso....it was nearly darn good! I love the fact that it is built like a tank and I know this machine will last me very long time as long as I take good care of it. I am grateful for those suggested that I buy this model. For those newbies....don't be afraid to take a chance on this espresso machine! Educate yourself, watch many helpful videos and ask questions and you will not feel intimidated. Once you get the hang of it...it gets easier from there!
