We purchased these oil stoppers to replace the one we had that broke at the cap area. The only thing left was the small lever to open the stopper. I found this set of four on the Walmart website, they looked exactly like the one we needed to replace. I also measured the broken one to insure it would fit the olive oil bottle we have. The detailed specifications were a match for the broken one. They are not expensive, they are made of a solid plastic overall with a silicone rubber gasket material to prevent leaking. The stoppers fit perfectly, no leaking, and I believe the cap/lever mechanism is a bit sturdier then the previous stopper that originally came with the olive oil bottle. The set of four stoppers should insure we've got backup replacements in the event we break another one. These stoppers don't need to be very robust, since they only dispense olive oil and the only moving part is the cap/lever. The weakest parts of this stopper design is the cap itself that needs to flex when snapping closed, and the small hinge pin, which snapped off on the original stopper we replaced. I had to temporarily replace the pin with a piece of paper clip, bent at both ends to replicate a hinge pin. The cap itself, later snapped off. That's our story, these new stoppers (set of four) should last as long as we do.....
