My son has severe milk protein allergy and my twins are 9 yr olds showing signs of lactose intolerance. My brother and I are lactose intolerant. Prescriptions and lactaid don't eliminate the struggles. If you know ya know. I'm also vegetarian so that puts me on a mostly vegan diet. I've been searching Walmart regularly hoping to find dairy free cream cheese for a very long time. I had faith they might have something. I am delighted and impressed with what they've come up with! Exceeded my hopes. This is almost identical without the bad breath after taste from dairy, rather a pleasant taste. No trouble physically. The texture is slightly thinner and inney bit tart but pleasant and about the same as dairy, just better to digest. I've tried Kite's, Viola, and Kraft. This one is more comparable to kraft but cleaner and easier feeling. Brings me tears of joy to be able to rely on Walmart to offer at least a few non dairy options for us. We can still enjoy cream cheese bagels, dips, a scoop in mac n cheese, good old fashioned cream cheese olive sandwiches etc. with this. I even tried it with a couple small sips of wine and it does the job. I'm very thankful for this product and the fact that we have options to be able to enjoy traditional foods in a cozy modern way.
