I've purchased both expensive area rugs and rugs the average between $48-85 in hopes that I like it, and that both my dogs, Thor (a black Russian Great Dane @186lbs and Zeppelin (a bully breed @88.7lbs) would love. and finally, this is the rug that makes us all love! The texture of this rug is absolutely perfect! My Dane hasn't shown any interest in an area rug until this rug! Even Zeppelin has fallen in love with this rug. And, if they're happy, Mum's happy! I'm currently shopping to find a bigger sized rug exactly like this rug. I'd also like to add that this rug does continue to get thicker as time goes by and I'm very happy with the padding this rug has achieved as it continued to "fluff out."
