They do provide a decent amount of cushioned support. Both the outer faux alpaca upper and the faux shearling lining are extremely soft and comfortable. The slippers have a wider toe box which is essential for me since I have a bunion on one foot. The slippers keep my feet warm during this cool Alaska autumn, and the hot pink color is bright and fun. The soles have anti-skid strips which help with traction when walking on smooth surfaces. Overall, good value for the money and recommend.
