- Regular verbs formed from three root letters that do not change during conjugation
- Verbs with identical second and third root letters
- Verbs with a weak second root letter
- Irregular verbs with a weak first root letter (waw or ya)
- Irregular verbs with a weak third root letter (alif, ya, or alif al-maqsura)
