A fitting End to a stirring series

All the strings come together in a beautiful prose. The conclusion of Enders stirring techno-ethic offers a hopeful ending that is really a beginning. All new ideas and possibilities blossom just like the mother trees in the book. The finale is enthralling, and readers won't be disappointed.

A sorry end for Ender

The series was going downhill already. This is the final nail in the coffin. Actually, it's so bad its the entire coffin and the mortuary service that prepared the body. OSC has gotten more and more preachy in his later novels and this is probably the worst example. The whole thing is more an excuse to deliver lectures. There is very little going on at all and it does nothing for the series. The narrator has becomes so omniscient that we are forced to read the minutiae of every thought that crosses the cerebral cortex of these subjects. The book is really short and most of it is that boring preaching and over narrating. Maybe there were some unique ideas. Maybe, maybe not. I was too bothered to bother Read this book only if you NEED closure on the Ender half of the Ender series. In spite of all the junk it does tie up the threads nicely and give everyone a happy ending of sorts.
