I did not buy this to play tetherball with. I use it to gauge water in a cattle trough. Its fantastic. I can see the ball floating from a good distance. The wind does not blow it out of the tank. Once the rope wears out it has a recessed attachment point that I can attach a chain to. This is great. I will and have bought more.
