Ah yes! The unholy marriage of metric and imperial measurements. Nothing I like less, but it is a fact of everyday life in the U.S.A. and for products aimed at the "savvy" American consumer that refuses to accept the metric system. The holes on the hardware are exactly 3 inches on center (unless we want metric measurements in fractional millimeters) and the screws are metric M4. %238-32 will not work, so don't even try. So, the included screws of 1 inch and 1.5 inches are really not going to work with any standard thickness of drawers or cabinets. Less than ¼ inch of the screw goes into the hardware (the pulls). Some 20 mm M4 screws (here we go again with the logic of the metric system) seem to do the trick for most of my cabinets and drawers. So — Overall they're pretty good quality. The quality of the machining for the screw holes varies from piece to piece. I have no idea what the finish is made of, but it seems like it would stand up to high-use areas. I tried to rub some off with lighter fluid and it wouldn't come off, even with vigorous rubbing. Would I buy these again? Yes, I've already ordered a set of some round brass knobs from them. BTW, shipping is slow. I bet you can guess why. One star taken away because I had to buy screws to get these to work with any standard cabinet or drawer thickness.
