Good for Opossums and Humans!

I needed a fish with bones, and packed in water, to feed an outdoor opossum in this frigid weather. She gobbled it up, and she is on the second can! It is less expensive than salmon, and still healthy. Looks like it could be used to feed humans by making it in a salad or a hot pasta dish.

purchase off shelf

Good brand. Best to purchase it yourself off the shelf. Last order was delivered by mail. 4 cans were shipped loose in box and arrived so dented that I expected them to explode upon opening.

mackerel is better than tuna

Great source of omega 3's with less mercury than tuna! Mackerel is lower on the food chain than tuna...and if you slip the brown meat off the outer portions, it actually tastes better than any tuna for sandwich roll mixes.
