Our powerful multistrain probiotic formula includes L. bulgaricus, L. acidophilus, and B.bifidum. Together, these probiotics work together to help support healthy gut flora.
L. acidophilus is the primary bacteria of the small intestine while B. bifidum is the major bacteria of the large intestine. The strains of L. acidophilus and B. bifidum used in this product have been the subject of in-vitro tests in studies for their potential ability to become part of the naturally occuring flora. L. acidophilus is found in the human intestine, mouth, and vagina. B. bifidum bacteria is generally the most common probiotic bacteria found in the human body.
Multidophilus is formulated with freeze dried dormant probiotic bacteria. Refrigeration should be maintained during storage, especially after opening the bottle. In their freeze dried dormant state probiotic bacteria have a better chance to survive and remain viable during short periods of unrefrigerated shipping. These products are shipped directly from refrigerated storage at the manufacturing facility. Return to refrigeration upon receipt.
