Yeah, yeah, yeah; blah, blah, blah… the lighter weight is all well and good for us humans, the environment and so on but isn't it more important whether or not the little ones like it? Since they're the ones using it that's what counts. If they don't like it, or refuse to use it, everything else doesn't matter. I have two cats and they both like the lightweight versions of kitty litter over the regular-weight ones. My younger cat isn't finicky, but as a 7-pound twerp she can now kick dirt to her heart's content. My older cat, a former dumpster diver, is a spoiled brat. She prefers the Cat's Pride brand over Tidy Cat and has refused to use Arm-n-Hammer. Trust me, they'll let you know they don't like it in terrible ways! For my older cat, who is slowing down and has grumpy hips, the lightweight litter lets her do her business without any problems. She's able to dig a little hole, do her thing and then bury it. With some of the full-weight styles, I think the litter is too heavy for her since she'll leave a fresh steamer on the top – not what you want to come home to! As the one cleaning things, I like that Cat's Pride litter has larger granules than other brands, which translates to less tracking and easier clean-up with what is tracked. This version of Cat's Pride is scented but it is a mild scent that isn't noticeable after a couple of days. The important thing is you don't smell the other stuff. Overall, I and my cats give Cat's Pride Fresh & Light Premium Clumping Multi-Cat Scoopable Cat Litter, 15 lb a thumbs up.

Cat's Pride Fresh & Light Lightweight Quick Action Scented Multi-Cat Scoop Litter works great. As you can see from the photos my cat Fingers even likes the container. He didn't seem to have any problem changing over to the lightweight version of cat litter. It is nice being able to buy the large container without staining to lift it. This fifteen pound container has as many uses as a regular twenty pound container. It says it “instantly absorbs odors” and I can confirm this as being true. It also says right on the container “easy scoop clumps”. It really does make clumps that do not break up when scooped. Also I scooped within one minute of Fingers going and the clump was already solid. I scoop out his “potty house” every day and it has no odor at all and it has been very quick and easy to keep clean with the Cat's Pride litter. This litter is 99% dust free. The other litter I used would have a lot of dust come up when I would pour it in the litter box. I did not like breathing the dust or having to clean it up after it settled all over everything. I and Fingers recommend this litter to all cats and cat lovers.
