These placemats are a woven mix of cotton and polyester and will be easy to keep clean. The woven design is interesting and the size works with a variety of plate/bowl sizes and offers plenty of room for silverware / flatware. They are also versatile enough to work with fine china, glass dishes, and ceramic. Also, you’ll receive 6 at a reasonable price. We like them.
