These furniture protectors are great, they hold up well to my 4 indoor cats, the first set lasted 3 years, only needing to be replaced because I bought new furniture. Doesn't hurt my cloth furniture at all when I remove them. They adhere well and the pins are not needed.

Cat loses interest in scratching furniture

It is shiny so it isn't completely unseen. I've replaced 4 couches due to a cat absolutely shredding the sides and arms—-while trying everything. Water bottle, a paint stirrer to tap the booty, removing him…etc. He has tried to scratch on this and because he can't put his claws in he leaves. (Yes, I did buy him a really nice cat scratch pad, tower, etc…. Not interested. Highly recommend.
