Works well on upholstered furniture, does what it

So far so good. I have cats ... LOL, any they do love to claw things. We have leather furniture so that is not problem but I did purchase two recliners recently that are upholstery and right off, before they discovered the cloth, I put these on. No problem so far, everything is in tact. I have a log cabin, interior walls are log on perimeter, and tongue and groove for walls. Two of my cats have decided to keep their nails sharpened by clawing a couple of the outside corners. I tried everything. Very frustrated. I put these on the corners and they have totally left them alone. I don't think it will hold though as they don't stick to wood that well but so far so good. IF need be, I will just purchase more and replace what falls off. Anything to save the walls!
