Very Cute!

I added four of these to my last order as a surprise for one of my kids. Two out of the four were the same. That's the way it goes with surprise boxes though. Luckily she's really into trading these figurines, so she's already working out who she'll swap with to get those duplicates replaced. These little pets are very cute and would make a fun little gift.

The newest popular toy for kids.

Littlest Pet Shop is what all the kids are crazy about right now. I purchased 2 of these for my granddaughters one which is 6 and the other one is 12. I am saving them to give to them for Valentine's Day. These are Series 5. I was not able to find them in other big box stores or online.

good design, bad quality, deceptive packaging

I like the accessories and I think the designs are cool and well thought, but the quality of the toys themselves is really bad. It feels like bad practice to hide the product so you can't see if there's fabrication flaws, and truly there are many. There's at least one defect on every single littlest pet shop figure that I bought recently. They have paint marks, glue buildup, paint buildup, sometimes the eyes are not placed correctly, necks are crooked, and the paint chips just by looking at it. Especially for that price, I think it's unacceptable. In store you can pick the pet pair that you want, the paw on the package has a different colour and it indicates which ones are inside. Not only does it further feel like they were just trying to hide their faulty products (what's the point of hiding the toy if it's not actually a blind box?), I think it's also an accessibility issue because you can't pick which one you order online, and not everyone is able to go to the store in person in order to pick the item that they want, so disabled people are at an unfair disadvantage again. Overall, it feels like the company only invested in designs that are eye catchy so they can grab your attention and money quickly, but don't actually deliver quality products that go with the designs.
