Product details
With three comfortable positions, retractable lock bar, self-adjusting suspension and a convenient tray, this 3-position Geri chair recliner by Drive Medical includes a bevy of features. It can be positioned upright, in a deep recline or with the leg rest/footrest elevated, and a retractable lock bar secures the chair in your desired position. The self-adjusting suspension prevents the problem of the user "bottoming out" in the seat, which is protected from seepage by a moisture barrier. The product includes a large, blow-molded tray that locks in 5 positions and can be stowed away on the side of the chair. The comfortable "built-in" headrest and wide, comfortable, padded arm rests were constructed at an angle to provide support, even in a reclined position. The 5" casters (2 complete with locks) allow for simple movement and security of the recliner. The neutral colored, sturdy steel frame is easy to clean and maintain, with side panels that pop off for cleaning and maintenance. All foam and vinyl meet California Flammability standards, and the product also meets both standard and Boston Fire Department specifications.

Rosewood color, Medical recliner
I bought this recliner for my 85 years old mother, who is in bed. We only had it for 2 days, but it seems very sturdy and Good quality. I love that the sitting part is deep and because of her back problems she can't sit straight up therefore she won't be able to slid out of it. The width is perfect for our narrow door space. The chair feels a little bit hard, but with a pillow or cushion it will be better. I was worried about the color, thinking that it would be too pink in case someone else need it, but it's a neutral color Good for male or female. So far we love the chair, my mother had a Good time being out of her bed and sitting on the chair for about 4 hours . She loved her new chair.

It's a good "medical recliner"
It's a good medical recliner, not the most comfortable for my 90 year old mother, so I also bought a cushion . It's well made. We needed a chair that could be rolled from the bedroom to the living room, as its difficult transferring mom. The chair is easier to pull backwards, while occupied rather than pushing forward. It did meet our needs, though.
