This is the 2nd pair of Georgia boots I have purchased/owned. The previous pair was purchased 11 years ago (same "model"). However, I am somewhat disappointed with this boot. The picture shows smooth leather; however, the boot I was sent was a pebbled texture which I don't prefer. The color was more "orange" than "tan", which I also don't prefer. And lastly, the boot (8 M) seems a little larger than the previous 8 M that I purchased from Georgia Boot as mentioned above. I was previously highly impressed with Georgia Boots, but cannot say that now. Sorry.

Good, but tight

I've worn Georgia Boots daily for the past 8 years. It seems like in the last 2 years, their wide boots have a tighter fit on the steel toe section of the boot. This causes blistering and callouses on the outside of my big toe for about the first 2 months of use. They hold up great, but an additional 1/8" on the inside would make a huge difference.
