KidKraft 5" Wooden Poseable Doll Family of 7 - African American

When I will opened the box I was surprised that the doll family I received didn't look like the family on the website or box. The dolls all had dark black hair which made them look more realistic. After having to return two other orders to walmart due to incomplete products, this set was a delightful surprise. I can't wait for my girls to open them for Christmas!

My daughter wanted a Barbie dream house. However I wanted something that would be more sturdy and last longer. I read the reviews for the Kidkraft Oh So Chic Dollhouse and figured I'd give it a try.. The dollhouse arrived packaged nicely. There aren't any pictures on the box which was helpful I didn't want my daughter to know what it was until time to open it. It took me 5hrs from start to finish with a little help from my daughter. The instructions are really easy to follow and everything is labeled. An alley wrench is included in the kit. However you will need a small flat head screwdriver for the wheels, roof and floors of the dollhouse. The house is very sturdy and so is the furniture. I love that it is wooden and has wheels to move it around the house or into a corner once playtime is over. All the furniture is wooden and comes pre-assembled except for the beds. The beds are simple to put together though. The house is huge. I am 4'10 and the house is almost as tall as I am. I love that you can play on any side of the dollhouse. The house has 10 rooms and 45 pieces of furniture. This was definitely worth the price. My daughter is 5yrs old and I anticipate her having this house for the next several years.
