the best waffle iron for the money

I had one of these before I had to buy another one because I damaged it cleaning it. A couple of pointers for using from experience of fifteen years using it. my first one i had came with a plastic tray you would put under to catch the spill over, this one didn't have one. You need something to catch the spill over or it's a mess. A cutting board or something. Put your fingers under the waffle cooking plate and level it and tip it back because it will run out the front and sides if you put a lot of batter in, and you want to fill the whole top plate with batter or you won't like it. Just cook it until it stops steaming a lot and flip it over until it brown on both sides

Excellent for simple waffles

My 3 year old twins love waffles, so I wanted a simple waffle maker. This works perfect. I love that it has a red and green light indicator letting you know when it has heated up and then when the waffle is ready. I also love that it has a "browning" control, since my kids like softer waffles and my husband and myself like crisper waffles. They are not thick waffles, like true Belgian waffles, but overall this works for my family.

Best simple waffle maker!

Love this waffle maker! I bought a lower end flip waffle maker for $50 but it broke when i recieved it. I didn't want to spurge on a fancy flip waffle maker so i took a chance with this oster brand and I LOvE it! It makes waffles just as well as those fancy flipper machines and waffle shops. The batter never sticks to the waffle plates and always come out perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside.
