It's a decent little stool. Bought it for the adjustable height function, cus we're short, %26 it works well. The stools are a little more lightweight %26 plastic-y than they look in the photo. Not necessarily a bad thing. If you're short, like us, it can be tricky to scoot them back %26 forth, so lightweight is good. The base is plastc, with a hard plastic gasket type thing that makes contact with the floor. It's not ideal. I covered it with some felt we had around %26 works pretty good. Long story short, they suit our needs dont regret buying em
